Warriors Stay Perfect at 4-0
with 55-3 Win over Muskegon Heights
The Western Michigan Christian girls basketball team played to a unique score Friday night, defeating Muskegon Heights by a final score of 55-3.
The Warriors led 22-0 at the first break, 31-3 at halftime and 47-3 heading into the final frame.
Taylor Folkema led the way with 23 points, while Anna Sytsema added 13. Jenna Houskamp scored seven points to go with seven assists and five rebounds.
“The girls are playing consistent through this current stretch of games,” said WMC head coach Jeremy Goorman. “They are not playing down to the competition.”
The win improves WMC to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the Lakes Eight Conference.
