WMC Wins Conference Jamboree by a Stroke
The Warriors won a Lakes Eight Jamboree at the Muskegon Country Club Wednesday by one stroke.
WMC shot a 173, one stroke lower than Manistee's 174.
The Warriors were led by Chandler Breit and Dan Vanbiesbrouck, who both shot 41. Jeff Merz was next with a 45 followed by Caleb Minasian-45, Owen Alfree-49 and Travis Goodrich-54.
"It was a successful outing for the Warriors! " coach Morris Ringelberg said.
"We are reaching out and attempting to achieve our potential. The boys are capable of shooting in the low 160’s for nine holes and with the Regionals at the month's end, we could place strong enough in our division to qualify for “State” as a team in June!"
