Warriors fall to North Muskegon
The Western Michigan Christian boys tennis team took a tough 7-1 loss to North Muskegon on Friday.
Tyler Newhouse took home the Warriors’ lone victory at No. 2 singles, defeating his opponent in three sets, 7-6, 2-6, 6-1.
No. 1 singles Christopher Newhouse fell in a sweep (6-0, 6-0); No. 3 singles Jaxon Duer fell 6-4, 6-0; and No. 4 singles Daniel Vandiesbrouck fell in a Set 2 tiebreaker (6-2, 7-5).
In the doubles flights, No. 1 pair Andrew Hill and Silas Jeltema fell 6-2, 6-1; No. 2 pair Michael Kamps and Alexander Miller pushed to three sets (4-6, 6-1, 7-5); No. 3 pair Jacob Tejchma and Jonas Jones fell 6-2, 6-0; and No. 4 pair Sean Kreiger and Joseph Clapp fell via sweep (6-0, 6-0).
