Baseball picked up a couple of non-conferences wins Monday sweeping visiting Grant.  The Warriors had strong pitching throughout both contests.

WP - Jamo Goorman, 7 IP, 11 K's

Leading hitters - Brant Zeerip & Jaxon Deur with 2 hits each.

Game 2 - WMC 7, Grant 1

WP - Brant Zeerip - 7 IP, 7 K's

Leading hitters - Zeerip with 2 hits, Cam Beisel with 2 RBI's and Tyler VanBeek with a double.

Record for WMC - 6-1

Coach Chris VanHekken: "Tonight our pitchers (Goorman & Zeerip) did a great job of throwing strikes and keeping Grant off balance.  Our defense played really well behind them with Andrew Hill , Jake Moser &  Michael Kamps doing a great job.  Cam Beisel continues to handle the pitching staff really well behind the plate.   We have yet to really hit our stride, but we were aggressive on the bases and created a lot of opportunities."
