WMC Drops Two Close Ones to OV

Game 1- OV 7, WMC 6

Leading hitters - Cam Beisel with 2 hits, Nick Moser scored 2 runs.  Jamo Goorman, Nathan VanderWeide, Michael Kamps & Tyler Van Beek each had an RBI.

Game 2 - OV 6, WMC 4

Leading hitters - Nick Moser, Goorman, Jake Moser, Kamps and Jaxon Deur each had a hit.

"We battled tonight against some pretty good pitching from OV," WMC coach Chris VanHekken said. " I am proud of how we hung around and gave ourselves a chance late in both games. 

"I thought our pitchers did a nice job all night against a good hitting team.  Defensively, we had a couple of mistakes that led to 5 unearned runs for OV, in Game 1.  But we rallied back and just came up a little short.  It was nice to see Nick Moser hit the ball hard tonight as he had a triple and double.''
