Leading hitters - Jamo Goorman with 3 hits, Michael Kamps & Nathan VanderWeide with 2 hits

Tuesday's game was a continuation of our game with Catholic from two weeks ago.  WMC started today down 6-1, in the top of the 4th inning.  The Warriors rallied in the 5th & 6th innings to tie the game at 8. 

"We had several clutch hits from Kamps, VanderWeide, Andrew Hill, Jake Moser and Cam Beisel," coach Chris VanHekken said.  "Unfortunately, we had a couple of misplays in the field in the top of the 7th inning that allowed Catholic to score the go ahead run.

  "I am very proud of how we battled all the way back and never quit.  For the first time in probably 20+ years, we beat Catholic this season and to take them to the brink a second time, proves we are improving and starting to play our best baseball of the year.  Our pitching staff is rounding into form nicely as well at the right time."
