"Wednesday was very special as we had an opportunity to honor our graduating seniors," coach Chris VanHekken said. 

Cam Beisel (MCC), Casey Fink (Calvin), Jake Moser (IWU) and Tyler VanBeek (MCC) all have played four years of varsity baseball at WMC.  "Their dedication during the season and especially in the off season, has really set the bar for future classes.  These four players will be missed next season.  I am very thankful for them and their supportive parents the past four seasons.  

"As far as the games went tonight, we faced a very tough opponent in Ludington.  They won our conference and are the best team we will play this season.  We battled them, especially in the second game, but unfortunately, we came up a little short.  These games only will prepare us for our upcoming district play." 

DISTRICT TOURNAMENT:

WMC will compete in the district tournament at Muskegon Catholic this week..

The Warriors play Holland Calvary at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 2.

The winner moves on to the district final at 2:30 p.m.
