Leading Hitters - Cam Beisel, Michael Kamps & Brant Zeerip all had hits for WMC
"Tonight was a tough test for us, going up against a very good Zeeland West team," WMC coach Chris VanHekken said. "Their pitchers throw a little harder than what we are used to and they play very good defense.
"Jamo Goorman and Jaxon Deur did a nice job pitching today. We had one inning, where a missed call and an error ended up leading to four runs. Knowing how to overcome these innings and get better going forward is our goal coming out of this game. Playing teams like Zeeland West will hopefully prepare us better for this Saturdays districts."
