Warriors Lose to MCC in District Final

Game 1- WMC 13, Holland Calvary 1

Leading hitters - Nick Moser with 2 hits and 3 RBI's, Jamo Goorman with 2 hits and 3 RBI's, Nathan VanderWeide with 2 hits and 3 RBI's.

Game 2 - Muskegon Catholic - 14, WMC 4

Leading hitters - Jake Moser with 2 hits, Cam Beisel with 2 hits, Andrew Hill with 2 hits and Brant Zeerip scored 2 runs.

"We played a great first game against Calvary.  Michael Kamps pitched very well and we swung the bats great," WMC coach Christ VanHekken said. 

"In the finals, we hit the ball well, just right at someone.  Give Catholic credit, they hit the ball hard and played very well in the field.  Zeerip, Goorman and Nick Moser made some great plays in the outfield in the finals. 

"I am very proud of how we didn't quit and fought all game with Catholic.  We ended the season with a winning record, which is something for us to be proud of given our schedule and our youth.  Jake, Tyler, Casey and Cam will be greatly missed next season on our team.  They all have meant so much to our program over the past four years and will be very hard to replace."
