Warriors drop both games to Ravenna on Saturday
The Warriors faced a tough Ravenna team on Saturday for a double header. The Warriors dropped the first game 2-8 and the second, in a rain shortened affair, 1-5.
In the first game, the Warriors manged only 5 hits by 5 different players.with Sam Liggett (Sr.) leading the way with a triple and Jono Clausing (Jr.) with a double. Alex Wagonmaker (Fr.) took the loss.
In the second, WMC managed only 3 hits by Liggett, Clausing, and Sam Sipe (Jr.). Ethan Hill (Sr.) took the loss.
Coach Hill- "These are two games where we really shot ourselves in the foot with uncharacteristic mistakes- both on defense and on the base paths. We'll use these games as an opportunity to work on some things and get better. The guys will need to wipe these games from there minds and focus on the goals ahead of us."
