The JV squad started out the season hosting Reeths-Puffer on our home field in front of a great crowd of supporters that filled the new bleachers. This was a great way to start the season with a quality opponent in order to challenge the boys and see where they need to grow. Unfortunately, the result was not what they were looking for as the Warriors dropped the home opener 0-2 to the Rockets. With a short bench of only two subs, the warm summer early season game showed the fitness level of the guys as they were tasked with getting up and down the field against a team with over 10 subs. The team will take this first step and learn from it as they look to continue to build with each practice and game and focus on playing high quality Warrior soccer.
