WMC's junior varsity team defeated Muskegon Catholic 9-7 and 15-6 Wednesday.
"The boys executed well. We had very good pitching from Garretson, Goorman, TerHaar, and Crabtree. Our bats were on fire and we played solid defense," WMC coach Scott Liggett said.
"Our team made defensive plays, pitchers threw strikes and we had a ton of hits - we had a lot of fun.
"We are 5-5 on the season and we are starting to click as a team."
