Saturday's first game against Ravenna was the JV's first win of the season. The boys played fantastic, giving up only 2 runs on 4 hits. Will Liggett started on the mound and had 3 strikeouts for the JV Warriors. Max Miller came in to relieve Will in the 3rd inning and gave up only 2 hits and had 3 strikeouts as well. Offensively the Warriors were able to get the bats going, with a total of 9 hits, a season-high. JJ Braun went 2-2 with 2 doubles and an RBI. Cody Folkema went 1-3 with his one hit being an inside-the-park home run. Danny Maat went 1-3 with a walk and a triple as well. Overall, it was a great win for our program.
